Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager supervises and motivates the store team, providing inspiration to drive sales and exceed customer service expectations through coaching, providing effective feedback, and recognizing accomplishments. Assistant Managers must promote a fun and positive work environment that fosters open communication, encourages teamwork, and inspires creativity.

- Sets goals for the work group, develops organizational capability, and models effective teamwork
- Demonstrates a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions
- Trains and holds team members accountable for delivering legendary customer service
- Drives implementation of company programs by developing action plans and motivating the store team
- Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Roggenart
- Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates responsibilities to ensure smooth operations
- Ensures the highest quality of products and drinks are served to customers
- Ensures adherence to product serving procedures and maintains product integrity
- Provides coaching and direction to achieve operational goals
- Reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Utilizes tools to prioritize communications and filters them appropriately for the store team
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately to ensure effective store operations
- Solicits customer feedback to understand needs and the needs of the local community
- Plans for and achieves operational goals including inventory management, store setup, product layout, and hygiene
- Challenges and inspires employees to achieve business results
- Leads by example, takes ownership of all store processes, and works with front-house and back-of-house employees
- Ensures employees adhere to operational requirements
Requirements and qualifications
- 1 year of experience in customer service management
- 1 year of restaurant/kitchen management experience
- Extensive food knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Good financial management skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
