Responsibilities
- Conduct daily monitoring and review of student progress, check box completion, and move ups to ensure appropriate progression
- Communicate with parents/customers on a regular basis to provide appropriate status updates and a high level of customer service
- Coach and instruct teachers in providing safe and effective swim lessons
- Ensure teachers are adhering to Big Blue Swim School principles and curriculum
- Enforce all safety procedures and required certifications
- Affirm efficient building operations including cleanliness, water quality, and pump room operations
- Assist the General Manager with daily operations and team support as needed
Requirements
- Previous management or supervisory experience highly preferred
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Lifeguard, CPR, CPO certifications preferred
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive identification of opportunities and recommendation of solutions
- Ability to communicate and respond to student and customer interactions
- Ability to work in the pool as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with customers and staff
