Assistant Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in operating a single store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensure exceptional guest experiences. A 3+ week store leadership training program will prepare you for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of a single store location
• Hire, manage, and direct associates to meet financial goals
• Ensure delivery of exceptional guest experiences
• Complete a 3+ week paid store leadership training program

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Must be flexible to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Serve Safe certification (Food Safety)

Work Environment

• Counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors
• Workspace is restricted; employees typically stand for long periods
• Must prepare hot and cold foods, use kitchen equipment (including Chinese cook knives), and work quickly with accuracy
• Must lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across 36-inch countertops
• Kitchens are hot with high noise levels; storage space is limited with high shelving
• Fast-paced environment requiring effective verbal communication, adaptability to changing priorities, and conflict management skills

Pay

$26 per hour - $29 per hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and experience.
