Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of a single store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
• Uphold a high standard of integrity and ethics to comply with all company policies.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates in an open-kitchen setting.
• Regularly interact with individuals of all ages, including minors and seniors.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Must be flexible to move to a store within a 50-mile radius of home.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule that generally includes opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, driven by business needs.
• Food Safety: Serve Safe certified.

Physical Demands

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspace is restricted, and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours, and reach across countertops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot, noise levels are usually high, storage space is limited, and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have effective verbal communication skills, adapt to dynamic environments with changing priorities, and manage conflicts or difficult situations.

Pay

Pay range: $26.50 per hour – $29.50 per hour. Individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
