About the Role
Assistant Restaurant Managers provide leadership to each team member and ensure every customer receives a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. You will manage systems such as training, food safety, customer/employee safety and security, cash handling, and inventory management. Responsibilities include setting targets, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain a ServSafe certificate.
- Identify training opportunities and train team members to communicate effectively with customers for a friendly experience.
- Complete daily food safety checks, including FIFO, code dates, and health inspections, while actively monitoring food handling in the restaurant.
- Engage in customer and employee safety by maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment.
- Demonstrate basic cash handling skills and enforce all applicable child labor laws.
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure all team members adhere to uniform standards.
