Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager position at Hobby Lobby is one of hourly store management. A typical work week is 40-48 hours, with regular store hours from Monday through Saturday, 9:00AM to 8:00PM, and closed on Sunday. Typical hours include working from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, closing the store 2 nights a week and working every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the store, including inventory, sales, and customer service.
• Train and supervise hourly employees to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other managers to maintain a cohesive store culture and team spirit.

Requirements

• Previous work references preferred.
• Some previous management experience preferred.
