About the role
This position involves handling various financial and administrative tasks within a community setting, including but not limited to:
- Collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments
- Preparing daily bank deposits and monthly close out reports
- Processing invoices and payables
- Operating property management software and ensuring its integrity
- Reviewing resident files and accounting records
- Communicating with residents about outstanding balances
- Implementing procedures for collecting on delinquencies
- Enforcing the lease to maximize revenue
- Submitting invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Reconciling work performed or products purchased
- Managing communication between vendors, contractors, and clients/owners
- Following proper notice requirements for evictions
- Applying appropriate deposit and lease cancellation fees during move-outs
- Processing the disposition of move-outs in compliance with established procedures and legal requirements
- Responding to complaints, questions, and requests in a timely manner
- Taking appropriate action to resolve and address service issues
- Organizing and delegating daily work as the on-site supervisor
- Collaborating with the maintenance supervisor on maintenance and make-ready tasks
- Managing the operation of the community in compliance with Company policies, procedures, and business practices
- Preparing lease and move-in documents
- Showing apartments to prospects and assisting with the leasing process
- Promoting resident satisfaction and retention
- Offering support and assistance to the community manager
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong math skills
- Bilingual proficiency (preferred)
- Drivers license
Qualifications
- Knowledge of property management software
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and vendors
- Experience with financial record keeping and invoicing
- Ability to enforce lease terms and collect on delinquencies
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to property management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
