The Assistant Manager supports the Operating Partner and General Manager in daily operations, team leadership, and sales performance. This role is the designated key holder and leader for assigned shifts in the absence of the Operating Partner and General Manager. While ensuring a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every guest remains essential, the primary focus is selling monthly wash memberships at the pay station. We are looking for someone who is comfortable starting conversations, educating customers on the value of our membership program, and confidently closing the sale.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operating Partner and General Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
• Lead assigned shifts in the absence of senior management.
• Sell monthly wash memberships at the pay station by engaging customers, educating them on the program, and closing sales.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every customer.
• Serve customers in a friendly manner with a positive attitude.
• Cooperate with team members and follow established systems.
• Learn new skills in safety, mechanical systems, and customer service.
• Maintain a clean appearance according to company standards.
• Lead by example and act as a problem solver.
• Operate electronic devices and basic mechanical systems.
• Work with a sense of urgency in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Experience in supervisory roles such as shift lead, team lead, or crew trainer.
• Experience in customer service, operations, or team-based roles.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
• Comfortable engaging with customers and selling memberships.
• Sales experience is helpful.
