Requirements

  • Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) certificate required.
  • Three years of aviation maintenance, including at least two years of hands-on experience with corporate aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to support diverse flight mission profiles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
  • Two years of college or equivalent technical training is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Support adherence to company manuals and regulatory standards, maintain technical proficiency through ongoing training, and represent Jet Aviation as a trusted industry ambassador.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in performing and overseeing maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with airworthiness standards.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records, while monitoring maintenance activities at remote locations.
  • Help plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, oversee remote maintenance efforts, manage computerized tracking systems, and review directives and bulletins for relevance.
  • Support procurement by gathering and comparing maintenance quotes for supervisor evaluation.
  • Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to fulfill maintenance requirements.
  • Assist in managing contracts, manuals, and budgets, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and payments.
  • Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
  • Operate in a variety of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces.
  • Experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes.
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
