Assistant Maintenance Manager
About the role
C&W Services is the industry leader in Integrated Maintenance Solutions, providing service to more than 600 companies worldwide. We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead a team in maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, particularly conveyor systems, at our logistics and fulfillment facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assigns job plans and oversees departmental goals.
- Manages all C&W Services maintenance team members at the site.
- Promotes C&W Services both internally and externally.
- Demonstrates leadership and good judgment in decision-making.
- Formulates and implements standards and work procedures.
- Provides feedback on discrepancies in service delivery.
- Maintains positive customer and employee relations.
- Achieves departmental objectives and key metrics.
- Serves as a liaison between Account Managers, Planners, Customers, and Departments.
- Allocates time for one-on-one coaching and mentoring.
- Affirms compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Oversight of QA/QC inspection protocols for all work personnel and work performed.
- Communicates with team members to support goal development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role (5 years preferred).
- Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
- Ability to operate and understand simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain CMRP or ICML MLT 1 certification.

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using basic/power tools and equipment.
- Understanding of industrial equipment operation and maintenance.

Pay
$86,700.00 - $102,000.00
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate shifts including holidays and weekends.
