Essential Responsibilities/Activities
- Works with supervisors and technicians to reduce or prevent downtime.
- Mentors supervisors, technicians, and operators to increase knowledge and productivity.
- Identifies critical skills needed and establishes a method of obtaining knowledge and increased productivity.
- Troubleshoots machinery to identify mechanical, electrical, and logical issues.
- Troubleshoots equipment computer systems to identify hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provides around the clock support (when available) to supervisors and technicians.
- Identifies and procures parts and tools needed for maintenance team.
- Encourages and motivates maintenance team to get tasks done in a timely manner.
- Aids in creating an organized and effective spare part inventory.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Associates degree in industrial maintenance or related field and 5 years industrial maintenance field experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Mental Functions
- Ability to work with and manage people.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the team members.
- Ability to share and expand knowledge of new and seasoned team members.
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills and software (MS Office Suite, etc).
- Working knowledge of basic Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical aptitudes.
- Working knowledge of Salvagnini software such as: Syscon, Maintenance Manager, Easydata, WMS, and IMAS.
- Working knowledge of IPG Photonics equipment and Lasernet software.
Essential Physical Functions
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 95% of the normal work shift.
- Ability to work in, on top of, and around industrial equipment.
- Ability to work on lifts at heights.
