About the role
This is a key leadership role supporting day-to-day maintenance execution, driving reliability initiatives, and helping lead a skilled trades team in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. This position works closely with both Maintenance and Production leadership to improve uptime, strengthen work management processes, and ensure maintenance activities align with operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Support daily maintenance operations, planning, and execution across the facility
- Serve as supervisor and assist with off-shift leadership coverage
- Partner with Production to prioritize work, improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime
- Drive adherence to work management processes including work identification, planning, execution, and closure
- Lead and support safety initiatives including LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor safety
- Monitor KPIs related to maintenance execution, asset reliability, and work order completion
- Aid in training programs and help maintain a structured training matrix for the maintenance team
- Assist with outage planning, vendor coordination, and larger maintenance projects
- Act as a technical resource for maintenance supervisors and trades personnel
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong background in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of safety standards and compliance
