Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records in PLEX.
  • Aid the Director of Operations in the operational and fiscal activities in the Maintenance group.
  • Identify and select vendors for equipment, fixtures, and supplies.
  • Maintain MRO supplies and spare parts inventory.
  • Identify opportunities for productivity and quality improvement and implement the necessary measures to realize these improvements.
  • Oversee Maintenance activities which include plant expansion, plant maintenance, equipment maintenance, and external services: cleaning, lawn, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • Manage employee performance and recommend changes in job duties and employee status.
  • Maintain standards which includes mechanical and maintenance standards.
  • Serve on various committees as required.
  • Perform any other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High-School diploma required.
  • Associate's degree or working towards an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, process analysis, CAD, and drafting terminology.
  • Broad knowledge of machine shop and basic accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of tooling, costing, and maintenance management.
