Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

C&W Services is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead a team in maintaining conveyors and sorting equipment across multiple logistics and fulfillment sites. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance and a bachelor's degree in a related field, with 3+ years of experience or equivalent management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns job plans and oversees departmental goals.
• Manages all C&W Services maintenance team members at the site.
• Promotes C&W Services both internally and externally.
• Demonstrates leadership and good judgment in decision-making.
• Formulates and implements standards and work procedures.
• Maintains positive customer and employee relations.
• Achieves departmental objectives and key metrics.
• Liaises with Account Managers, Planners, Customers, and other departments.
• Provides one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Oversees quality assurance and quality control inspections.
• Communicates with team members to develop short and long-term goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field (preferred).
• At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role, with 5 years preferred.
• Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
• Familiarity with operating and understanding of heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Pay

$86,700.00 - $102,000.00 annually
