The Assistant Kitchen Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Kitchen Manager in managing the kitchen operations. They are responsible for ensuring that all food preparation processes are efficient and meet high standards.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
- Ensures adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Manages inventory levels and procurement processes.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assists in training new kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with food safety regulations and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid food handler’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
