About the role
An Assistant House Manager (AHM) oversees and works alongside Direct Support Professionals. This residential based position is an entry level supervisory role that requires candidates to take their prior experience to the next level with the support and guidance of the House Manager.
Responsibilities
- Create staff schedules
- Bank reconciliations and personal finances
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers
- Serve as a role model for individuals and staff in the residence
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid NYS Driver’s License
- The ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs
- At least 1 year of prior experience working as a DSP (or equivalent)
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with other staff and departments
- Experience in training and developing new staff members

The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00.
