ASSISTANT HOUSE MANAGER
Job Summary
The Assistant House Manager plays a critical role in supporting the administrative and operational coordination of the Residential Unit. This position works closely with the House Manager to help develop, implement, and maintain unit policies and procedures, while ensuring that staff and clients remain informed of all agency and departmental guidelines. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Assistant House Manager contributes to the overall effectiveness of the unit by supporting staff performance, maintaining program quality, and responding appropriately to emergencies or critical incidents. This role also involves providing direct supervision and guidance to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Qualifications (Education, Training And Experience)
Associates Degree or 60 college credit hours plus 3 years of work experience with children is required, OR
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Mental Health or Human Services field plus 1 year of work experience with children is required.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to clear physicals/trainings to fully perform restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.

Compensation
Hourly - $22.75-$23.75 (Annually $47,320-$49,400 -- overtime available)
