Responsibilities
- Aid in managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office.
- Effectively interact, coordinate, and communicate with team members during pre-shift meetings to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Show expertise in all services and features, including room types, rates, and special packages, and be ready to address guest inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Promote and track departmental and organizational initiatives such as upsell programs and CoralTree Delivers.
- Ensure front desk agents complete required checklists at the end of each shift.
- Maintain and execute departmental and hotel policies, including relocation procedures, safe deposit box procedures, and security measures.
- Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, fostering a sense of care and urgency towards guests.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet daily business demands and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Foster positive relationships with team members across all departments through regular communication and interaction.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and supporting the development of new and existing team members.
Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
- Previous hospitality experience in a Four Diamond quality organization preferred.
- Experience with Windows, Office, and property management systems highly desirable.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write basic English.
- Effective communication and direction skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic arithmetic computation skills.
- Availability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
- Marriott experience preferred.
- Lightspeed experience preferred.
