About the role
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports and reports into the Assistant Director of Front Office. The role aims to maximize sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction through effective management and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the standards of work are met to enhance sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction, measured by both internal and external guest ratings.
- Handle customer issues and complaints promptly and empathetically, showing undivided attention and resolving them within authorized limits.
- Train new and existing staff on reception functions according to the Standard Operating Procedures Handbook and the Training Schedule provided by the Manager.
- Maintain high customer service standards by monitoring staff performance and ensuring they provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests.
- Follow up with staff on areas needing improvement and attend FLSD training to pass an on-site test.
- Other duties as assigned, based on business needs.

- Passionate about hospitality and the youth travel market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Familiarity with English and a second language is desirable.
- Hands-on experience in reception supervision.
- Previous experience leading and motivating a team.
- Competent IT proficiency.
Qualifications
- At least one year’s previous reception supervisory experience.
- Fluent in English with knowledge of a second language.
- Available to work as needed in line with business requirements.
