About the role
The Assistant Guest Experience Manager (Assistant Front Office Manager) oversees the front office staff, cash control for agents, staffing needs, and guest services. This role requires overlapping responsibilities with other managers, including training, staff development, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Guest Experience Manager with short- and long-term planning and the management of the hotel’s Front Office operations
- Handle the daily operations of the front office team
- Perform all tasks of a Front Office Staff as needed to facilitate service
- Maintain excellent communication with the housekeeping department
- Create expectations, lead people, manage processes, and hold people accountable for the agreed upon activities and time tables
- Coach and counsel employees to reflect Miraval service standards and procedures
Requirements
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of one year previous front office supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
