About the role
As an Assistant Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including:
- Pumping Systems
- Power Generation and Distribution Systems
- HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- Energy and Temporary Utility Systems
- Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to guarantee safe project execution and minimize risk.
- Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently to guarantee profitable delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus.
- Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance, or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, A/C and heat, water restoration, or construction equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and internal resources.
Pay
Base pay range: $21.38 - $29.39 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
