Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

About the Role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager partners with the F&B Manager, blending business acumen and operational knowledge to drive business results and deliver a stellar guest experience while building a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Achieves overall sales, KPI, and profit goals of the assigned location.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and lounge as an on-the-floor leader.
• Performs all functions and ensures employees execute corporate initiatives efficiently and resourcefully.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and holds the team accountable.
• Models and ensures all Casa de Montecristo policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated, maintained, and consistently followed.
• Ensures compliance with all state and local regulations.
• Maintains a comfortable, responsible, and safe environment.
• Analyzes bar and restaurant reporting to identify opportunities and implements plans to increase overall sales and profitability through product education, events, party bookings, and outside partnerships.
• Partners with the leadership team to ensure expenses and product/food costs align with budget objectives to achieve positive store contribution.
• Assists the F&B Manager in recruiting, training, and leading a team of top-performing associates.
• Challenges and inspires others to achieve and execute sales-driving initiatives.
• Monitors and manages store staffing levels proactively according to business needs.
• Provides coaching and performance feedback to employees.
• Acts as a brand ambassador within the market.
• Participates in local networking, marketing, events, and activities.
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing across the organization.
• Maintains visual and cleanliness standards to support the brand image.
• Demonstrates an energetic, persistent, and professional demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.
