Job Duties
- Develops client relationships and supports business development activities to obtain new work, primarily from existing clients as directed.
- Solidifies and executes environmental contamination management projects, including soil and groundwater investigation, water quality sampling and analysis, soil sampling and analysis, environmental permitting, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Provides technical services including environmental field studies for wetland and stream delineations, endangered species, and invasive species; sediment and erosion control planning; environmental permitting (local, state, and federal); and construction inspection and erosion control monitoring.
- Coordinates with clients and regulatory agencies, assists in the delivery of projects from inception to completion, and ensures they are delivered on time, on budget, and of high quality.
- Manages project tasks, prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for specific tasks of overall projects, assists with supervision of staff to complete their assigned tasks, maintains GAI's procedures and protocols, assists with all aspects of financials on projects.
- Interprets the strategy of top-level management and translates it into everyday policies; develops and implements day-to-day routines for a team, department, group, or division; talent development: develop staff skills and empower them as problem solvers boosts innovation and productivity.
- Oversees learning, coaching, and career progression; reporting issues and performance to top-level management; fosters well-being: prioritizes mental health, work-life integration, and enhances retention.
- Communicates effectively with clients, Project Managers, and various Department Managerial Staff, especially with client communications; interacts with clients at regular project meetings.

Technical Responsibilities
- Begins to provide oversight of task managers' tasks; coordinates project tasks; reviews project documents; interfaces with agencies and subconsultants; adjusts project plan as changes are made.
