Assistant District Sales Manager

About the role

Your primary responsibility is to lead by example with above-average sales performance. You will mentor other sales reps by demonstrating adherence to the selling system and achieving strong results. Additionally, you will shadow reps to ensure compliance with the selling system and provide prescriptive training to improve their performance.

Responsibilities

• Be in the field 90% of the time and in the office 10%
• Run leads to help increase the overall performance of the office
• Take reps with you to allow them to shadow you
• Shadow reps to help them stay compliant and close sales
• Assist with recruiting and maintaining staff levels
• Assist with phone calls from sales reps
• Assist with preparing and presenting meeting content
• Provide coaching and training
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to handle difficult or irate customers calmly and empathetically
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A proven track record in customer service or sales (preferred)
• Prior experience in a similar role (preferred)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• This job operates in a remote work environment
• Minimum of 40 hours worked per week
• Regular communication in English with employees
• Must remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs of equipment and conduct attic inspections
• Constant operation of a computer and other office machinery

Pay

$40,000 base salary, with performance-based bonuses. On-track earnings of $150,000+ (uncapped commission).
