About the role

The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) at Riverside Village is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents. This position works closely with the Director of Nursing Services to develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with professional standards and the facility's philosophy of care.

Responsibilities

• Assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice.
• Develops, communicates, and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and company and facility philosophy of care.
• Coordinates with the Director of Nursing Services to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and corporate policies and procedures.
• Inspires and motivates clinical staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Mentors and coaches clinical staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
• Communicates effectively with staff, residents, and their families.
• Creates a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
