About the role
Powder Springs Center for Nursing & Healing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).
Responsibilities
- Coordinating comprehensive nursing care
- Implementing specialized clinical procedures and programs
- Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals
- Ensuring compliance with operational policies and state and federal regulations
- Delivering safe, efficient, and compliant resident care
- Participating in the nursing home survey process
- Supervising, mentoring, and training nursing staff
- Organizing and supporting in-service education and training programs
Requirements
- Active RN license
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
- Strong team orientation and communication skills
- Infection Prevention experience preferred
