About the role

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in our skilled nursing neighborhood.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate new hire orientation programs, educational in-service/clinical programs, and training for all nursing personnel.
  • Oversees the infection control program as a designated infection preventionist to comply with Federal and State regulations, and to provide training to nursing staff.
  • Assists the Director of Nursing (DON) with management and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of five years’ clinical experience; preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Experience with in-service education
  • Clinical supervisory experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of principles of nursing care, and Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities

Pay

$90,177.00 - $107,425.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
