Responsibilities
- Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
- Coordinate infection control
- Plan, organize, and implement training programs/in-services for clinical staff
- Auxiliary with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
- Adequately and appropriately staff the facility nursing department to meet the needs of residents (may include recruitment)
- Oversee the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred
- Infection Control: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be computer literate and experience with EMR preferred
- Completion of IP Course within 3-6 months of hire would be expected
