About the role

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for assisting and supporting the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility.

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Nurse License
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program
  • Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention
  • Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations
