Responsibilities
- Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
- Assist the DON with coordination of infection control
- Assist the DON in planning, organizing and implementing training programs/in-services for clinical staff
- Assist the DON in ensuring effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
- Assist the DON in overseeing the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of NJ
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred, but not required
- Three (3) years of experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred, but not required
- Infection Control: 1 year experience preferred, but not required
- Must have basic knowledge of Infection Control (IP)
- Must be computer literate and have experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
