Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in maintaining quality care and managing staff.
• Providing staff education and serving as the Infection Control Officer.
• Ensuring compliance and effective communication across nursing teams.
• Meting residents' medical needs and coordinating nursing services.
• Maintaining knowledge of nursing practices and ensuring accurate medical records.
• Participating in hiring, interviewing, and orienting new staff.
• Flexibly managing work schedules to meet care needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current New York State RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Long-Term Care settings.
• Experience in clinical staff training and supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
