Assistant Director of Internal QA and Training
Join Our Mission to Make a Lasting Impact! Community Solutions Inc is seeking an Assistant Director of Internal QA and Training to support the Director of Training in the execution of all activities to lead, manage, and further develop The Learning Institute @ CSI.
About the role
Manage and direct all training and quality assurance activities, coordinate workflow, act as a primary point of contact for CSI programs and clients, develop proposals, and furnish reports as necessary. Develop and facilitate training, Training of Trainers, conference presentations, and workshops. Develop and implement training curricula and quality assurance tools, supervise and develop staff members, pursue new business leads, and secure new clients. Learn to work with the LMS and continue to advance our use of it. This position may provide supervision for Training and Quality Assurance Supervisors, Coordinators, Consultants, and Coaches.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct training and quality assurance activities for all programs across CSI
- Coordinate workflow across the training academy
- Monitor and evaluate quality assurance and training to ensure the highest quality of service, using data analytics
- Create monthly billing reports for programs and submit to VP and finance
- Create reports on a monthly, quarterly, and semiannual basis, analyze, and submit to VP of training
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of TLI to ensure Department infrastructure meets changing needs, making recommendations and creating changes when necessary and quality is high between both internal and external programs
- Ensure proper training of Coaches, Supervisors, and Coordinators
- Support interrater reliability activities and work to ensure proficiency of all staff
- Manage staff time, attendance, and performance
- Implement staff development activities
- Research and develop proposals, respond to funder/client requests, and provide reports as requested
- Act as a liaison to CSI programs and funding sources when necessary
- Host and/or attend meetings with external customers
- Teach others on staff to work with clients and excel in customer service
- Prepare and conduct quality assurance activities including tape review, feedback sessions, and associated reports
- Conduct trainings and Training of Trainer activities
- Research and develop curricula that is grounded in research in the subject matter, and designed for adults, based on adult learning theory
- Maintain a library of reference materials
- Ensure training quality across contracts, using both qualitative and quantitative measures
- Apply for, design, and facilitate conference presentations on CSI quality assurance and training programs
- Assist in marketing activities
- Develop new business leads
- Secure new clients for The Learning Institute
- Work with existing clients to increase business
- Maintain acquired credentials and/or certifications
- Promote CSI values, and maintain a working knowledge of CSI’s programs, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science/human services/education field; Master’s degree preferred
- Five years of technical experience facilitating research-based training programs and at least 2 years providing evidence-based quality assurance coaching
- Two years of supervisory experience in a related field
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Expertise in adult education methods and techniques
- Knowledge of quality assurance coaching techniques and have the necessary skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
