Responsibilities
- Managing budgets and forecasting
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with audits and other financial reviews
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Providing financial analysis and reporting to senior management
- Assisting the Director of Finance on financial operations for the hotel or resort
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a hotel or resort accounting role preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
