Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversight of USI's live video production on ESPN+
- Training and evaluation of video production staff
- Produce creative video content for the Athletics Department
- Archive and log video content
- Auxiliary in the production of fan engagement videos
- Auxiliary in the production of animated and graphic video content for in-venue videoboards
- Shoot photos as needed
- Auxiliary in the production of digital and social media strategy for the Athletics Department and sport programs
- Design branded elements for use in digital mediums
- Auxiliary in coordination of special events
- Participation in continuing education as required by the NCAA, Conference and/or Institution
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in sports communication or a related field
- Two to three years of experience in live athletic video production
- Hands-on experience with broadcast equipment
- Knowledge of trends in the industry, techniques and principles of camera operations, staging, lighting, audio recording and formatting of studio and location video shoots
- Knowledge of various video production and editing software programs
- Basic knowledge of collegiate athletic media relations practices and operations
- Evidence of strong communication skills
Preferred Knowledge And Skills
- Experience with AJT Live Book and/or Viz Trio graphics systems
- Experience with Viz (NewTek) TriCaster and 3-Play systems
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects
- Experience with InDesign, Bridge/Lightroom and Audition
