Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Serves as an Assistant Director of the Office of Undergraduate Curriculum, Policy, and Records (OUCPR).
- Collaborates with OUCPR leadership and other office staff to evaluate service quality and help develop plans.
- Manages academic records of and provides services to approximately 14,000 students.
- Maintains and updates student record data in multiple systems.
- Verifies academic program requirements and notifies students of deficiencies.
- Processes routine student requests and academic program exceptions.
- Responds to student questions and concerns.
- Implements processes involving special credit processing and foreign language requirement exemptions.
- Audits systems and staff output to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Represents OUCPR on College and campus committees.
General Responsibilities
- Develops and implements programs and initiatives related to student engagement, wellness, and academic support.
- Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of student services against projected outcomes.
- Serves on committees and performs research on student services best practices.
- Coordinates communications for student services initiatives and gathers satisfaction feedback.
Education: Required Bachelor's degree in higher education student affairs, public affairs, counseling, social work, education, business, or related field. Preferred Master's degree in related field.
Work Experience: 2 years in student services, higher education, or related field. Preferred 2 years of office experience, preferably in an academic environment.
