Assistant Director for Student Records and Services (Student Services Generalist)

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Serves as an Assistant Director of the Office of Undergraduate Curriculum, Policy, and Records (OUCPR).
  • Collaborates with OUCPR leadership and other office staff to evaluate quality of service and output goals.
  • Audits systems and SRS staff output to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Represents OUCPR on College and campus committees, as appropriate.

General Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements programs and initiatives related to student services.
  • Measures and evaluates effectiveness of student services against projected outcomes.
  • Provides guidance and oversight to 4 full-time recorders.
  • Interfaces directly with students by attending events and meetings.
  • Projects outcomes for services offered at the program, department/division, or campus level.
  • Works with OUCPR leadership and other office staff to evaluate quality of service and output goals.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in higher education student affairs, public affairs, counseling, social work, education, business, or related field.
  • 2 years in student services, higher education, or related field.

PREFERRED:

  • Master's degree in related field.
  • Management experience.
