Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary leader for medical student education curriculum at the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) at WellSpan Health campus.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Phase Directors and Assistant Directors, faculty, and students.
- Build and nurture relationships with students, faculty, and Medical School Campus staff, as well as LKSOM students, faculty, and staff at the North Philadelphia and St. Luke’s campuses.
- Participate in applicant interviews, including completion of ratings and rankings of applicants.
- Plan, implement, and revise all core education strategies and initiatives, as directed by the Associate Dean, the Assistant Dean-Education, and the full leadership of the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
- Ensure integration of foundational sciences, clinical skills, and professional identity formation.
- Collaborate with academic and clinical departments to promote improvement and innovation in pedagogy, assessment, and clinical training.
- Ensure exceptional student educational experiences at all levels of the curriculum.
Requirements
