Assistant/Coordinator Music Tour Marketing (Future Opportunities)
About the role
The Tour Marketing team at MUSIC·TEAM supports the planning and execution of marketing and ticketing strategies for client tours, one-offs, and live events nationally and internationally. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supporting tour announcements, pre-sales, on-sales, and ongoing campaign timelines
- Creating, managing, and maintaining tour marketing tracking documents and spreadsheets
- Drafting and distributing marketing and ticketing emails to promoters
- Collecting localized creative, marketing plans, radio proposals, ticketing information, and promotional materials
- Reviewing promoter socials, artist websites, ticketing links, pre-sales, and VIP programs for accuracy
- Cooking with agents, artist teams, managers, labels, promoters, ticketing partners, and other external partners
- Aiding in creative brainstorming for tour marketing campaigns
- Supporting presentations, partner pre-sale requests, department systems, and process improvements
- Handling administrative needs such as scheduling, meeting coordination, note-taking, travel and expense reports, and general team support as needed
- Covering client shows when appropriate to support artist and agent teams
Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities, professionalism, discretion, and comfort working with confidential information, proactive, reliable, resourceful, and flexible working style, interest in music marketing, live touring, and learning how campaigns come together across markets, proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Box, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Manager, or related platforms.
Qualifications
Entry-level/early-career assistants to experienced coordinators who can support high-volume campaign execution with limited supervision.
Skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Pay
Assistant rates - $47,500 (non-exempt, salaried)
Coordinator rates - $62,000-$70,304 (exempt)
Schedule
Future opportunities may be based in Chicago, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, or other THE·TEAM office locations depending on business need.
