Assistant Coach, Quality Control

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, breakdown, and analyze video from practices, games and opponent's games for review by the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches and student-athletes.
• Study each opponent's game plan and schemes, analyze data and chart tendencies to facilitate the planning and execution of practice and game preparation.
• Evaluate athlete's skill and review performance records to determine strength and weaknesses of opponents.
• Identify pregame and in-game opponent's personnel assignments.
• Aid in the creation of game day call sheets with the Defensive/Offensive/Special Teams Coordinators.
• Create playbook for assigned areas (offense, defense, special teams).
• Collaborate with each position coach to synthesize their input into the playbook.
• Work in coordination with the coaching staff in the off-season to plan, create, and implement philosophies for the team.
• Identify prospective student-athletes.
• Research and prepare scouting reports for recruitment of potential student athletes.
• Grade scouting video of potential student athletes.
• Oversee on-campus recruitment and evaluation of potential student athletes.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree and one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above.
• Related coaching experience at the professional level can be substituted for the degree requirements.

Position Details

This position is a 10 hour/week position from August 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027. The salary for this opportunity is $10,000.
