Assistant Clinical Manager - Surgical Trauma ICU

About the Role

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is a 412 bed, Level II Trauma, Magnet designated organization situated in South Central Michigan, surrounded by golf courses and lakes, 40 minutes west of Ann Arbor, 40 minutes south of Lansing, and 40 minutes east of Battle Creek.

Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department
• Assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Two (2) years RN experience
• Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS' Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
• Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services

Licensures / Certifications Required

• Current RN License in the State of Michigan
• BCLS/ACLS per Unit Standard
• Certifications appropriate for Specific Unit
