Assistant Campus Director, Admissions

About the Role

As an Assistant Director of Admissions, you will guide prospective students on their path towards a career in healthcare, helping them change not only their own lives but also those of the patients in their care. You will be a prospective student’s first connection at West Coast University, supporting them through the application and enrollment process.

Responsibilities

• Advises Admissions Advisors on inquiry disputes, Admissions policies, and procedures.
• Ensures efficient and effective application of established university policies and procedures for the admission of prospective students.
• Reviews and inspects prospective student paperwork from Admissions staff for accuracy and compliance with regulations, ensuring corrections and/or omissions are completed.
• Participates in the interviewing and selection of Admissions staff, asking pertinent questions and providing feedback and hiring recommendations to the Director of Admissions.
• Conducts training with the team on new and/or revised Admissions policies, procedures, or practices to ensure effective support.
• Manages the Admissions department schedule.
• Develops creative motivational tactics to generate inquiries and increase advisor morale.
• Sends reports to Admissions Advisors and Senior Admissions Advisors for updates on department efficiency, class rosters, and financial aid updates.
• Enrolls qualified prospective students.

Requirements

• A minimum of four years' prior experience in an Assistant Director-level position in an academic/admissions environment is preferred.
• A minimum of two years' overall experience in admissions.
• Bachelor's degree required.
