Assistant Banking Center Manager
Location: Mt Juliet, TN (On-Site) | Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt

Responsibilities
- Help oversee the branch: Act as the Banking Center Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to goals.
- Lead and support tellers and platform staff, including scheduling, approving transactions, and coaching team members.
- Drive sales and service: Introduce clients to new products and services, cross-sell, and generate leads for the sales team.
- Engage clients: Deliver exceptional service by building relationships, identifying client needs, and providing financial solutions.
- Ensure compliance: Follow security procedures and banking regulations while maintaining adherence to policies.
- Train and develop: Conduct performance discussions, annual reviews, and coaching sessions to enhance associate skills.
- Help oversee operations: Assist the Banking Center Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficiency.
- Process transactions: Assist with teller and platform activities, including check cashing, account openings, and loan applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred, or 5+ years of banking experience.
- Strong sales skills with previous experience meeting client satisfaction and sales goals; experience in consumer lending is a plus.
- Excellent client service, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional grammar and demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task, remain detail-oriented, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
- Proficiency in PC, Microsoft, and internet applications.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours when needed.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
- Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
- Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance.
