Primary responsibilities
- Oversee and direct banking center staff to meet or exceed goals in service, sales, financial, and operational areas.
- Lead service and sales management efforts, develop, coach, and motivate staff.
- Implement sales and service programs to promote customer relationships.
- Engage in business development activities for both consumer and small business clients.
- Acquire, expand, and retain customer relationships using trusted relationship-building skills.
- Contact customers, business representatives, and community/civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
- Manage all aspects of people management, including recruitment, development, engagement, and performance management.
- Analyze local market conditions and identify sales opportunities.
- Evaluate and process loan applications according to established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with institution's policies, procedures, and practices regarding granting or extending credit.
- Support and promote the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) policy.
- Supervise 3-10 subordinate banking center staff, manage their direction, coordination, and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years or more related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
