About the role
The Department of Medicine, Division of Liver Disease and Transplant Hepatology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) seeks qualified candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for full-time academic positions in liver disease and transplant hepatology. Successful candidates will be board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine and have completed at least one year of advanced training in liver disease and transplant hepatology.
Candidates will support general and advanced inpatient and outpatient hepatology consultation services at University Hospital, train hepatology fellows and medical residents, and meet the educational needs of New Jersey Medical School in liver disease and transplant hepatology. They will also actively support the research mission of the division.
The ideal candidate will possess superior clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Support general and advanced inpatient and outpatient hepatology consultation services at University Hospital

Requirements
- Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine
