About the role

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego is recruiting outstanding faculty with an interest in academia in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with a wide range of clinical, translational and/or basic science programs on liver diseases and transplant hepatology.
  • Engage in quality improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with funded investigators.
  • Publish clinical case reports or reviews.
  • Develop curricular or teaching materials.

Requirements

  • MD or equivalent, MD/PhD or PhD in health-related fields.
  • Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
  • Accredited Hepatology fellowship with UNOS certification preferred.
  • At least 8 publications preferred.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a MD or equivalent.
  • Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
  • Candidates with a MD or equivalent must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Candidates with a MD or equivalent must have completed an accredited Hepatology fellowship with UNOS certification.
  • Candidates with at least 8 publications are preferred.
