Position description
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality training and the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in didactic and clinical settings. The successful candidates will also be participating in the clinical care of patients, and/or research related to one or more division-related academic interests.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, MD/PhD, or PhD in Gastroenterology or health-related fields.
- Candidates with an MD or equivalent must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
- Candidates with an MD or equivalent must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology or related field.
- Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of training in GI procedures (ie. EGD, colonoscopy, push enteroscopy, and PEG tube placement) along with moderate sedation are preferred.
- Candidates that have completed GI fellowship training are also preferred.
