About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego (UCSD) is seeking Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join our Division at UCSD and Rady Children's Health (RCH), with an opportunity to focus on pancreatic disorders.

Position description

Rady Children's Hospital - San Diego is the largest children's hospital in California, and pediatric gastroenterology services are provided through the faculty of the UCSD Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidates will join our GI practice of 23 attending faculty and 7 advanced practice providers with 6 ACGME pediatric gastroenterology fellows. They will contribute to the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology's mission of delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient care and performing procedures. They will also supervise, mentor, and teach pediatric residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and academic activities. In addition, they will actively participate in scholarly and research endeavors, contributing to the department's academic mission.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics, and be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
