Assistant/Associate Professor – Multiple Positions (GI Hepatology)
About the role
Supports general and advanced inpatient and outpatient liver disease and transplant hepatology consultation services at University Hospital.
Performs gastroenterology procedures consistent with their training.
Serves as core faculty for the training of gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellows.
Serves as core faculty for the training of medical students and resident physicians.
Supports the educational needs of New Jersey Medical School.
Qualifications
Board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology.
Board eligible/certified in Transplant Hepatology.
Research
Actively supports the research mission of the division and is expected to lead investigator initiated and grant supported clinical research studies.
Additional responsibilities
Participates in the enhancement and expansion of the liver transplant program.
