Essential Job Functions
- Provide direct outpatient care to Hepatology patients primarily at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics
- Perform routine endoscopic services on Hepatology patients
- Provide inpatient care, on a rotating basis on a APP run Hepatology Service
- Participate in on call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- MD/DO Degree
- ACGME US Internal Medicine residency
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine
- BE/BC in Gastroenterology
- BE/BC in Transplant Hepatology encouraged
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
- Maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
- Maintain excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
- Current BLS certification required
- Alexander Hamilton Universal Service License (DEA) valid
Pay
Salary commensurate with experience.
