About the role

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in family education days as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include providing outstanding outpatient, inpatient and procedural care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and/or its satellites.

Requirements

  • Expertise is required in the specific area of education and clinical care.
  • Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certified/eligible in pediatric gastroenterology.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in academic medicine.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

  • Strong teaching abilities.
  • Outstanding clinical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
